“Shou-Sugi Ban” Style Hickory Burn Board

We designed these burn boards to be offered in a few different flavors. The origins of these burn boards started from the concept of whisky casks made from White and Red Oak. It has been said, that some of the earliest casks are possibly made from English Brown Oak and various Non-Domestic Oak classifications here in the states.

With these different species comes different flavors, much like the smoking of meats, cheeses, and other fine foods. This changes the consumer’s experience greatly. These boards add a certain freshness or effervescence at point of use….these make a fun and engaging experience for a dinner event, party or even home use. No finishes, no oils, no product, a raw organic “Shou-Sugi Ban” Style Hickory Burn Board.

This full featured board is approximately 6 ½” wide, 8″ in length, with thickness of approximately 7/8”.
